Hmmmm, if like to hear the other side of the story, i suggest you have a consult with the manager. Very easy to see who was on shift at the time.
It's a Fort Worth thing. These burgers are plain and simple no pretense. Just like the town that gave birth to this traditional American burger it delivers the tonnage on target without apology. Born in a neighborhood family run grocery store along Las Vegas trail these burgers are worth the relaxed wait while visiting with friends and family gathered up at picnic benches remembering good times and telling old stories. Like a good old story worth hearing again many times these burgers are predictable in their delivery and genuine in there impact and always bring a smile.
Great food and service. Price is a little higher than a fast food burger but well worth it. Cowtown Deluxe is a must try.
Everybody knows Kincaid's is about the BEST Burger anywhere. Just make sure they get your order right.
Good burger , really slow service both times I've been there. 1st during lunch could see that , but other Sunday not busy yet lots of workers still slow.
Had a big to-go order that was spot on. The manager made sure I had everything I needed. Helped me carry food to the car. Food stayed warm and my very rich and very fancy friends enjoyed the delicious cheeseburgers. Fries are always hard to keep good though. Maybe science could get started on that. Anyway. Go Kincaid's!
The address listed here on 4825 overton avenue is incorrect following the directions to this location will lead you to a residential area. The closest Kincaid's to this area is off of 30 and Camp Bowie.
Pretty good burgers... love the fries... just wished they'd give you more in their serving of banana pudding.
Been here so many times, odd that I haven't reviewed it till now. It's a Ft Worth institution, go, get a burger you won't be disappointed. Where else can you get deviled eggs?
One of the best hamburger place to eat.
Me and my girlfriend had a great time at Kincaid's! The food was a little bit pricy, but it was worth it. You can taste that this place believes in quality over quantity. The burger was absolutely delicious and the fries were fresh. Will be coming back!
I was there thisweek. I have enjoyed going there, bur this week my hamburger wasn't very good. It wasn't. It wasn't temperature hot, only warm. It made me sick later that night.
Great burger for Great price! Fast and Friendly Service!
Kincaid's Medium Rare Double Cheeseburger is my favorite after workout indulgence.
Burgers were good but I prefer their original location on Camp Bowie. The milkshake was nothing special.
Holy basic burger, Batman! This is a traditional burger join with the average traditional burger+ delicious sides (yum okra!)+ classic burgers- very basic food- small proportions- food made from freezer
Great burgers, even better onion rings!
Best restaurant hamburger and onion rings I have had in years. But the deviled eggs and jalapeno poppers were not so good. Will come back for a hamburger.
Awfully poor excuse for a burger, I just don't get it. This place is supposed to be legendary. I had to ask 3 times for them to make my burger to match what was described on the menu... no bacon, no pimento cheese, looked pitiful and cost almost $9 for a combo!
Love these thick, juicy hamburgers and the onion rings, and the deviled eggs! 😁
That’s all right place nothing special about the burgers kind of pricey to
What happened to Kincaid’s? This used to be a great burger joint. On the wall there is a sign that says “Kincaid’s Hamburgers are Natural Handmade Patties...Ground Fresh on Site,” ironic how we saw the patties being delivered on a dolly. Also, ever heard of seasoning? Good lord, if you’re looking for a good Texas burger experience, head to Whataburger or Fred’s Texas Cafe.
Great burgers and awesome onion rings. Also a large selection of ice cream based beverages.
Great burgers but the fries aren't worth the price
Really disappointed to write this review, but I visited the South Hulen street Kincaids tonight and they got my order wrong. I ordered a chili cheeseburger and there wasn't one drop of chili on that burger. I looked on the front of the bag (where they write your order down) and found that my order was taken correctly, the kitchen just got it wrong. Also, their onion rings are some of the best in town, but tonight they were significantly smaller than they have been in the past. I've been going to this place for decades, so I'm heartbroken to have to write. Its my hope that they read this and correct these errors.
Great food, friendly people, proper covid setup precautions
called in order at 5:30, was told 5 minutes, arrived at 5:39, paid for the order, i finally got my order at 5:53. terrible service, my order was sitring above the fry cooks station for no telling how long. luckly the counter girl saw me, got my order and called my name. good thing she saw me or i wpuld be waiting alot longer.
Really nice workers. I placed an order for ubereats when I was there. Didn't have to wait long for the food. Hot and made fresh.
Great old flat top style hamburgers and all the classic sides. Shakes are amazing. A rare gem.
Good burgers, great service, nostalgic atmosphere.
Decent. Not awful, but not worth the hype that drew me in for my first & last visit. Onion rings were very good especially with the ranch dip on side. Chocolate malt was fine. Burger was disappointing because my cheeseburger had NO cheese. Don't hate it but won't rush back.
Still the best hamburger in the UNIVERSE!
Ordered the wrong burger (way to spicy cowtown vs cattleman) and manager offered to remake my meal. It was unnecessary but very nice and above and beyond. I really appreciate it and so doesy stomach. I also witnessed the manager training a new employee and they handled it very well. I was impressed. Hands down best floor manager ever. Ty so much.
Amazing burgers!!! Just lile i remember from when i was a kid!!!!
Average burger! I’m not that impressed. It was all hyped no flavor!
Fort Worth only chain family owned and the original location is still open on Camp Bowie. This satellite location is the next best thing to the original and the food is just as great. I had the 1/2 lb cheeseburger w/ onion ring rings. The counter staff was friendly and the wait was as expected for a “we don’t make it until you order it” restaurant. If you like All American fare you will find something great here.
Very delicious. Burgers, fries, and shakes are all approved by this guy
Great food but I have to give it a 4 instead of a 5 because I ordered a plain hamburger for my son and it came out with cheese. I know it isn't a big deal so I went up and told then the situation and the girl behind the counter asked, "are you sure got ordered a without cheese" which I found kind of rude. I ensured her I ordered a hamburger because my son is allergic to cheese (which is true). She made an honest mistake but she should have just got the darn burger in three first place.
The beef patty was pre cooked. I ordered grilled jalapenos. I got a total of 4
Took forever to order. Took forever to get food .Order was wrong . Employee asked if I just wanted my money back!!! My redo was put in behind the current orders. My husband was finished eating when I got my burger, but it was prepared correctly and good. Definitely need a good manager and some retraining. This cannot be blamed on Covid.
Good down home burger, but not really something special. French fries are ok. Standard stand in line and place your order kinda place. The onion rings are nicely coated and fried to a crispy crunch.
Credit card machine didn't work. Overpriced anyway, you paying for the decor and the name. The burgers are small.
It's just a normal burger with a fun bench seating enviroment
Friendly, helpful, good food and good prices. Always a good e perience
This is a very try worthy place, the food was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. This was without the best burger I have had in a while, patty was perfect as well as the fries were nice and crisp. It didn't leave a greasy bogged down feeling, just a nice fullness.
Hamburger juicy so you going to need extra napkins
The food is always very good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The young lady behind the counter tonight was completely clueless. I rarely write reviews, but this was the second time I have been here when the service was not good. The manager was nice and fixed things but that was after one of our guests sat wi no food for 20 minutes. Not sure if I will be back here, plenty of other places to get a burger.
The food tastes good but the air in here is soo bad.
One of the best burgers in town, and they've always got enough staff to keep things moving.
I ordered my husband and I burgers to go, him a large and me a jr.His was fine, but mine was pink. I didn't eat it because I feel this is unsafeI did call and make the management aware. They offered to recook it, which involves driving back. I opted not to eat itI would ask for it to be completely done when you order.
Good old fashioned hamburgers and great onion rings!
